I imported a set of images into \IF2''8 ran an outside program on them which put watermarks on each one and deposited them in \IF2''8\wm.

I synced the parent folder, but when I select it, I see the images from both the parent and the child. How do I see just the parent's images so I can, for example, rename them?

I was thinking of working around by going to the child folder, selecting all and hitting them with a color tag. But then how would I go to the parent and tell it to select everything except the ones with that color tag. That's actually something else I want to do -- use the filters to select all except some combination of tags.

Go up to Library menu and uncheck 'Include Photos from SubItems'

Oh, and selecting everything without that colour - just select all of the other colours in the filters.

VB's right if all of the images have labels.

Taking it one step further, if you have images with No label, select all the other colors on the filter bar, and then you'll have to go up to the Library Menu > Library > Filter by Color > and add a check by the "No Label" option as well. This of course, is assuming you wish to include the "No Label" images in the set of "Not Red", etc.

This works quite differently in the V2 Beta release.

Additionally, you can sometimes approach it backwards, by selecting the images you don't want to see, and then Menu > File > Invert Selection. Sort of as a Not after all the Ands/Ors are applied
