having changed a crop - looked at another image or 7 then done some other things and come back to an image that I want to reset just the crop (i.e. completely undo it) is there a simple way to just undo the crop for that one image? I.e without having to do it manually bit by bit, because if one has rotated n image resettign the crop can take a while as it can be hard to realign the sides 1''%

You mean get rid of the crop altogether?

Yep, go to Develop module and either open the crop tool and press Reset or go to Settings menu > Reset Crop or press Cmd-Opt-R

but when I do that first option it resets everything I've doen to the image:o - is it supposed to do that?

I want to reset the crop tool only:? so your second suggestion is the one - thanks for that!

Ah, sorry, let me make that clearer - I don't mean the reset button at the bottom of the screen, I meant the reset button on the Crop Options panel. That one will reset just the crop.
