Hi,
With any photo in your LR Classic catalog, which has arrived via the cloud, you can use the "Remove from All Synced Photographs" option to remove the photo from the cloud but still retained the file in your local catalog.
How to do this with video files?
I note that the video files that have synchronized through the cloud, don't display in the "All Synced Photographs" catalog folder.
They also don't display the "Synced with Lightroom" icon in the top right of the thumbnail.
Despite this, I can see changes to the flags, or descriptions continue to update between LR Classic and LR Cloud for these video files, so they are being synchronized.
So how can remove a video file from the cloud to free up online space, but retain the local version in my catalog?
The only thing I can think of, is to use the "Remove from Lightroom" option, which will delete the file from the local catalog and the cloud (but not from the local Disk), then manually import / add the video file back into the local catalog.
Surely, there must be a better / proper method other than this?
Simon.
