How to purge Keyword hierarchy?

Hi!
I was trying to merge two catalogs by Importing from another catalog ( B, smaller to A, bigger), but because I have a simple keyword hierarchy, alphabets A,B,C,D... as parent keywords
it leaded to a "keyword mess". So can the hierarchy somehow be purged from catalog B before merging?

You should make sure that the hierarchies are the same before you merge the catalogs. That is a matter of dragging and dropping in the keyword list.

the keyword hierarchy in catalog B has gone a little confused, so I want to remove all parent keywords but retain the child keywords, but apparently there is no handy way.

You can select all of the child keyword drag and drop all of the Child Key words out from under the Parent keyword to a place just above it.

I have now done it. The area seems to be very narrow and requires accuracy to drop on it.
