how to open an older catalog?

I want to return to a catalog I've worked on but it doesn't open in the Recent Catalogs & I can't get to it. Help!

Hello,

If you can find your catalog in the explorer, (the xxxx.lrcat file), then simply double click on it, LR will open with that catalog.

Euh, have you tried Open catalog option just above the open recent.... option?
