Hello all,
Don't post here too often but have always gotten great results when I have, so thanks in advance.
Scenario: I have one computer w/an internal drive that is nearing capacity. I would like to add either a second internal drive or an external drive. My photos are located at C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\Photos, note I intentionally chose not to put them in "My Photos".
By moving them to another drive, I would free up 146GB from my current drive.
Question: How do I accomplish this while still maintaining the current structure of LR? Do I move from w/in LR? Since I've been using LR I've always used side-car files, so I believe my data won't be lost. I would hate to copy to the new drive and then just have to reimport all photos again.
