How to force lightroom 2.2 x64 to use photoshop cs4 x32 instead of x64?

I'm running on vista 64 if it help?

*Disclaimer* - I haven't got a x64 Windows version to test this, so backup first.

This page here has the registry entries. http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb4'1629&sliceId=1 I would *guess* that you could update the registry entries to point to the x32 exe file instead.

Alternatively, a less dangerous option - what happens if the x32 version is already open? Does it default to that one?

Thank you Ken!

Victoria,

Thanks for the tip. I had the same question since I have 64-bit Lightroom and it defaults to opening 64-bit Photoshop CS4. By following the instructions in the link you provided I was able to change the default "Edit In" application to 32-bit Photoshop.

Now I can use all my plug-ins without having to jump through hoops.
