I am using Lightroom classic for years and I am very happy with the face recognition feature. I.e., after importing new pictures, for each person in a picture Lightroom draws a rectangle around the face and suggests the name of this person, together with a question mark. Left to the name you could then check a OK symbol to confirm the suggestion.
Since a few weeks, the confirmation sign is gone and I cannot confirm the suggestions any more.

Any ideas ?

Hmmm... that's certainly the place you expect a checkbox. I was wondering if you were somehow in a different mode. So if you click where the check mark was does it do anything? I.e. is it a display artifact?

Are you actually on 9.4 or did you upgrade to 10?

Just to make sure... the check mark only appears when you hover over it, it's not there otherwise. Right? Here's mine (on 10) with the mouse over the foreground person and not over the other.
