Since my last LR update all my presets are out of order and some are missing? Any idea on how to fix that?
Also I purchased some presets and add them to the same folder where the current presets are stored and after closing out of and going back into lightroom they are not there. Do they need to go into a different folder? Whats going on here?

Did you update to 7.3.1 (released last Tuesday)? That fixes this problem.

Presets have changed from .lrtemplate format to .xmp format in Lightroom Classic 7.3. The ones you purchased are probably still in .lrtemplate format. That means you should not store them in the new location, but in the old location (so Lightroom can convert them). The old location is ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets. Unless you use the option to store the presets with the catalog, that is.

Once Lr converts the presets from lrtemplate format to xmp format...and puts the xmp files in the new location, you can delete the old lrtemplate files once you verify that Lr (and ACR) can see the new xmp files. The main reason to delete the old files would be to save the small amount of disk space used to keep the redundant lrtemplate files.
