How Stop LR6 Importing jpgs from Export Folder

Hi. I've used LR6 since 2016. When I import new RAW files into a folder, it also imports recently processed jpgs from the Untitled Exports folder, which is located on the hard drive inside that hard drive folder I import the new RAW files from. I can deal with having so many jpg files in LR I have no use for there, but I would like to stop the clutter of any more. Does anyone know how? Is there a way for LR to stop importing the jpgs without some hidden compromise? Thanks.

Easiest way is to uncheck "Include Subfolders" at the top of the left-hand panel of the Import screen.

You could also sort by File Type in the Import Grid, then it would be easy to find and exclude the Jpegs.

Or you could let the import proceed, then filter the "Previous Import" collection by File-Type, select the Jpeg option, select all, the remove them from Lightroom (taking care NOT to select the "Delete from Disk" option).
