how do you delete a keyword?

i applied a couple keywords to a group of photos upon import, now i want to delete it in the keywords box, the deleted word pops back on as soon as I add a new keyword?

Unless I'm mistaken, it isn't too difficult. You merely right click the keyword you want to delete from the keyword list and it gives you the option of deleting it.

Are you trying to delete it from certain photo's, or delete it altogether? Either way, the option is in the right click menu.

how do you delete keywords?

I found that I had to delete the keyword from the photo, then press Enter / Return, and then enter the new keyword.

If I didn't press Return and just added a new keyword then the old deleted keyword would re appear

This is correct for LR2 and I don't recall for LR1.
