I recently had to change several external hard drives and in the process of changing drives I now have 4 folders with the same name. How this happened is would go to a missing photo in LR and click on the question mark. I allowed it find nearby images. Everytime I did this a new folder with exactly same name was created. The same images in the same order are on the new hard drive and it is even the same name, but it will not allow the images to stay in the same folder on LR. How do I go back? Or how do I get LR to restore the catalog and eliminate all those identical folders.
I should clarify that I need to remove the main folders, not individual folders. The names on these folders are the names of the external hard drives they represent.

Welcome, right click and select remove. Are you sure you are talking about folders and not the disk drives themselves ? Post a screen shot if you like and we can take a look.

right click and delete

I tried that and that does not offer an option to delete. That only gives me the option of getting info, photo count, etc.

These are the folders I want to delete, not the individual folders with the photos.

ah-ha as I thought :)

They are NOT folders but disk drives. If you remove all the folders from under the Drive it will disappear.
