I know... I know this... but I do not have any leads online or in a book (Don't have my book here).
How do I move one or two images around in the grid module. The order needs some tweaking, do I pick up each image from the center and click on the space bar...I am drawing a blank. Any help would help. txs

You just click on the image thumbnail and drag, but:

1. The folder or collection you are working in can not have any subitems (subfolders, sub-collections). You must be at a bottom level folder/collection.

2. "User Order" has to be selected as the sort order. Check the toolbar in grid mode, just below the thumbnails (press T if it's not visible). If User Order is not available on the list, then you've got a problem with #1 above, otherwise, select it.

Note: I think I just noticed a bug, in that User Order sort is available from the Library Menu > View > Sort checklist, even when it's not available on the Toolbar. If you select it, the Toolbar sort switches to Capture Time, hmmm.

Also notice that this functionality is missing in the LR 2.' Beta. There is a link in the comment section of the article above where we are trying to make sure that that user sort remains in the next version.

Software developers usually try to ensure that they don't REMOVE functionality in an upgrade version, so you can be 99% sure that it will be back in the final release.
