I am totally confused with how to free up space on my internal hard drive.
I am just starting to use the Collections method and most of my pictures (about 17,000) are still in folders. I have attempted a download to an external hard drive, so now what?
Thank you for any assistance you can give me! Rose

Hi Rose and welcome to the Forums!

Adding photos to Collections won't change where the physical files sit, so won't save space. If you're trying to move them to another disk, then read this blog to help:

Or explain further what you're trying to do so we can assist.
