How do I consolidate my presets that are in different locations?

I have been using LR Classic for several years and have now moved everything to a new Mac. I find that I have imported many presets, etc from various locations as I learned LR. Some of them were from various courses and some from commercial products. Some are on my 8TB backup drive, some are in downloads, etc.

What I would like to do is the put them all in my LR Folder on the main Mac hard drive, so they are all together. I presume this should be the HD/////LibraryAdobe///Camera Raw folder.

Is it easier to delete them all from LR, then copy all the various files to that folder and re-import them, or is there some way in LR to move them all to the correct folder?

You don’t have to reimport them. If you copy them to the correct folder, then Lightroom Classic will automatically see them and load them. There is nothing else that you need to do.

Please note Adobe keep Presets used for ACR Develop in a different folder to Lightroom. Also, that if you have 'Store Presets with Catalog' this will change the Lightroom location.

Delete them in Finder, then when you restart Lightroom they won't appear.
