I'm trying to create a sitemap for my homepage created with LRB portfolio. I'm trying to "add my site" in Google's webmaster's tools. Google won't let me add the site until i verify it by placing some code on the home page above the header. I'd also like to add Google's Analytics code to the page.

How do I do this since Lightroom is generating the page for me? How do I change code on a page created by Lightroom?

I have Dreamweaver, but is there a way to get the code Lightroom is generating into Dreamweaver?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Please email me at mcgordon875'@hotmail.com

Thanks

can you not just open the html file in text pad or text editor and add it

Welcome to the forum, McGordon!

I agree with Andrew. The details depend a bit on how you're exporting. You'll need to track down the .html file (often index.html) and open it in Dreamweaver. It will either be on your server (if you upload via FTP directly from LR) or somewhere on your computer if you export first and then upload. Once opened, you can paste in the code. I believe Google recommends putting it just prior to the closing body tag (</body>).

I'll e-mail this same response to the address you listed. If you have follow-up questions let me know.

Thanks,
Brian

How did you do it in the end?
