Here the deal. I took a few portrait shots of my client against a red barn wall. In the photo, his face is picking up all that red reflecting from the wall. Is there a way, in Lightroom, to remove or low the red saturation from his face ONLY? I can do this in Photoshop by creating a mask.

Use the adjustment brush to desaturated just the face. There are also some WOW adjustment brushes designed to enhance skin tones.

How do I only desaturate the reds only?

Can't in Lr. Desaturate the reds globally, or all colors locally.

Bummer. I guess LR can't be perfect. :D

You could always use a brush and paint in the opposite colour (cyan) to tone the red down in the face
