Hi Chris, welcome to the forum!

Which gallery are you using? The flash one won't let you, but I think the HTML does. I seem to recall that some of the third party galleries even added a 'download me' link, but I can't remember which ones.

I'm using the stock flash one. I haven't really started using plug ins, and other templates yet. I don't really care if it's flash or not, I just want it to look nice.

Thanks
Chris

If you go to www.chadboileau.com he has a download option

One of the principal assets of Flash for commercial photographers, is that you *can't* download the pictures. Chris, you may have to try one of the HTML galleries, or another gallery intended for downloads.

My LRG Complete web template at lightroomgalleries.com allows for a free download of image option. it also allows for buying images with paypal or google if you decide to start selling your images

Nitpicking here - though they often think that is the case, the real benefit is merely that it's *harder* for less-savvy visitors to save copies of the pictures. As you know, if people can't download your pics they can't see 'em.

SlideShowPro's Lightroom web engine did have an interesting approach. If you clicked the image in the Flash movie, it launched a full size jpeg in a new browser window, which you could then right click and save. It doesn't seem to work now (the new window now displays the large image in a new Flash movie), but it's not the case of it can't be done via Flash.
