Is there any way of deleting items in the history of changes to a photo, i.e. go back to previous point and get rid of the subsequent changes.

I am sure there must be but cannot find how to do it.

All help appreciated.

David, simply click on any of the History states to restore the image to immediately following that state. There's no need to delete the subsequent states, the image behaves as if changing stopped at the History point you selected. The subsequent states are preserved on the list so that you can pick and choose, or change your mind.

I assume this has to do with your question on the other thread, concerning 'Reset Image' ? You should be able to choose any History state prior to the Reset, no need to actually delete it from the list. (If I'm understanding your question and motivation properly.)
