Hi
I have spent the evening putting a slideshow together for a presentation. The show is "mind blowing" (even if I say so myself) the lay out is fab, the visual effect is stunning. I have 2, no sorry 3 qestions that some of you may be able to help me with:

1) now I have my presentation and ready to take it to a show, how do I do this without taking my Home PC? I have exported the slideshow and it saved as a PDF Doc, which in my opinion is odd. I normally use Picutures to EXE. However Picures to EXE is miles behind in the visual effect.

2) When adding text via the ABC function/button how do I alter the font size?

3) I wanted to change the font style, and there are "tons" of styles, I would like one that resembles hand writing have you any suggestions regards to a font name?

Hope someone can help, I must finish by stating that I find LR superb.

I now take all Photos in "raw". Process in Capture NX (I use a Nikon D2''). Post process if needed in PS2 Good for levels...etc. Then I store, print, slideshow, with LR

Off to bed now as it is nearly midnight!

Dave, I am a D2'' shooter as well and only shoot NEF files and frankly if you are only using LR AFTER you have already processed the images, you're cutting yourself off short.

There are a handful of benefits to using Cap NX, no doubt. But if you have properly setup LR with presets for Tone Curve etc, and you use proper setup in camera for WB, NX becomes the step AFTER LR not the other way around.

My work flow is almost entirely in LR with exports to CS3 only as needed. You're only scratching the surface of what LR can do and IMHO have too many steps steps to deal with.

Anyway.. to your questions..

1) For the time being, LR can only generate the slide show in pdf format. Hopefully this changes but only time will tell. There are other [read:better] solutions for slide shows IMHO but the ones I use are for web based shows not really for designed for portability.

2) Don't have any info on your question 2

3) This depends on the fonts you have installed and of course what your script looks like... I prefer Bradley Hand ITC since I print a lot, Scribble and Lucida Handwriting are nice too... not sure if these will be available in LR or not though.
