hi (re)naming folders in LR?

hi

iam very happy user of LR but i need something changed now since iam on my 3rd camera...

i have folders imported in LR as
"canon p1" (sub folders DVD_''1 etc..)
"DVD_''1" (Nikon D7')
"DVD_''2" (Nikon D7')
"Nikon D3''" (sub folders DVD_''1 etc..)

i was so stupid on D7''s folders to import i hate it now... (how ever i have normal structure in HD G:/photos/NikonD7'/DVD_''1 etc)

can i RE import or something those DVD_''1 folders to become sub folders of Nikon D7' WHIOUT losing any keywords etc.????

Yes, very easily done Tuka, just make sure you make the changes within LR's folder panel otherwise LR could lose track of the files. Go to the folder list, right click on the folder you want to rename, and rename is one of the options in the context menu.

If you want to move the folders around by dragging and dropping, or move the photographs into different folders, also by dragging and dropping (picking up the middle of the image, not the grey surround).
