Hi Everyone

Just a quick introduction

I am a keen amateur photographer and have been using LR and PS for about a year now after completing an online course and was shocked how much you can do in lightroom.

Looking to get more into Lightroom and apply the knowledge I've gained from the course and to learn real world processing that courses generally do not cover.

Also, I've litteraly just built a replacement PC to replace my laptop that stuggled with any intense processing in LR & PS.
New build has 32Gb Ram, Ryzen 7 CPU, Palit 1050ti graphics card and m.2 and SSD drives and the difference is very noticable (now drink less cups of tea between edits - lol).

Really like the look of ths site and looking forward learning new things and interacting with other members over the coming months/years.

This website is a great place for Lightroomers to meet and discuss issues and questions. And, as Victoria says, "We are a friendly bunch."

Don't be surprised if you start to contribute your own ideas and answers once you get some more experience with Lightroom. Lightroom is a very complex program, and to me seems to be as complex as Microsoft Word or Excel. In other words (no pun!) there is always more to learn.
