Hi there all

New member from Sweden. Recently started looking at LR mainly for managing all the images on the harddrive (keywording, searching, collections etc). Seems really great, once you get into the LR way of thinking :-) I like the idea of original/derivative, hierarchical keywording, smart collections, non-destructive editing...

Been shooting with Pentax K1'D, but just the other week bought a Nikon D7''. Wow... now this is a camera!

Two main photo-subjects apart from the every-day-shooting: old/abandoned/derelict buildings and people/models

Homepage at http://erro.se (swedish only, sorry, and no people-shots there... yet)

Welcome to the forum Robert, I am sure you will enjoy the interaction with the forum members and the moderators.

I notice from your profile you indicate that you are using V 2.2. Lightroom is now at v2.4 (free update) and since there have been many bug fixes since v 2.2 it would be advisable to download the update.

Hi Robert, welcome aboard! Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.

Another K-1'D shooter! Woot! Welcome aboard.

Well aware of that. Update already downloaded... just need the time to actually do it... and... well... you know... :-)

Do a backup of your catalog to be safe, then double click on the download and it will update the previous version. No need to uninstall 2.2 and all your preferences, catalog, previews etc will remain intact.

And welcome from around the world in New Zealand.......Enjoy!! :)
