Hi from Metrowest Boston

I joined back in January, but somehow missed this forum. :oops: :roll:

I've used Elements 5.', upgraded to CS3 (which I still love), and recently acquired LR2 b/c I wanted better file management. I shot a "Picture a day" project in 2''8 (aka 365 project) and am doing it again for 2''9. Needless to say, shooting RAW with a full-frame sensor....I have lots of large files, and Bridge is beyond pathetic for mgmt and finding stuff.

Due to the amount of time I spend chasing my kids about (or picking up after them!), I've not yet had as much time as I'd like to learn LR. What I have read and learned astounds me, this is quite the program.

I'm currently having issues with it not wanting to run, and Geoff suggested I seek help here (I know him from a Nikon board). Thanks Geoff, this is a fantastic resource!! :cheesy::mrgreen:

Some of the 'extended' forum management and off-topic (non-Lr) forums don't show up in every view, so it's not surprising you may have missed one or two.

Hi Mark! Born/raised in Medfield, lived in Millis 11yrs after I got married, and we've just completed our first year in Holliston (LOVE it here!). I'm hoping to get up to Sudburry for some shooting this fall, so picturesque down town. I worked as a Paramedic in Waltham for a few years. :) Oh, and hubby is from the main line Philly area (Devon / Wayne). :)

Hi Don,

I would love to attend, but $6'' is far out of my budget. :( As well, I don't have anyone around that could watch the kids. I don't think I'll ever be able to attend (at least at the current pricing). The photowalk link doesn't work b/c I'm not a NAPP member. I have wondered if Kelby was doing another one this year, but haven't seen anything, I'm very interested in doing one. :D
