As a skilled photo editor, I am thrilled to be a member of this community; thank you for having me! Photoshop is my go-to editing program, but I've also been giving Lightroom a go since I want to expand my knowledge and expertise.

Welcome.
Which version of Lr?

Welcome to the forum! Are you a photo editor by profession, or just a photographer than is dedicated enough to spend the time needed to do a good job at editing?

Welcome to the forum.
I view Lightroom as a combination of Bridge (Image data management) and Photoshop. Lightroom Classic has great organization tools and all of the basic PS develop tools. Lightroom Classic is able to handle (by my estimate) over 95% of the processing that you could also do in Photoshop. The percentage today may be even higher since PS features like HDR, Panoramas, subject masking and perhaps other more recent new functionality have been added to LrC.
