I was going through a wedding catalog in Lightroom and moved the source files to a new folder. This caused the "File is offline or missing" dialog to come up. I tried moving the files back to the original location but with no luck.

I'm wondering if there's anyway to find out where I imported the files from (which folder) so I can place the files back in the original file.

If I can't do that, then is there anyway to update location without losing all edits to the photos?

I really dont want to lose a week's worth of work to this mistake.

Thanks,
Cody

Did you right click (or Control Click) on the image. That should reconnect it. Lightroom is so stupid with this.

Lightroom does this for a very good reason. It is not a file browser; it is a database with all the advantages (searching) of database.
