Help With A Painless Update To 2.3

Hullo

I have a Mac Version 1'.5.6.

1. Photoshop CS3

2. Lightroom 2.1.

I did not download Lightroom 2.2. after reading the the issues it was presenting.

Do you think it is safe to download 2.3.?

If so, be grateful if you would provide a step by step best practice to install 2.3.

I read somewhere that in order for the pre-sets to not disappear one should tick "Store Presets with Catalog" box ?

Sue, just use "check for updates" in the Help drop down menu and away you go.
Presets are not affected.

I have undertaken the update from Lightroom 2.1 to 2.3.

Restarted lightroom. However Lightroom version comes up as 2.


Is this correct ?- I thought update would show 2.3.

Please advise

Correct. You will see 2.3 only by going in the Help menu, last option: "About Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2...".
