HELP!! LR keeps saying "Server Busy"

No matter how many photos I bring into LR2.....it can be 1 photo or a bunch...I constantly get a window that opens up saying ....Server Busy. This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose "Switch To" to activate the busy program and correct the problem."
Then I have a choice of buttons "Switch to" or "Retry"
I am so frustrated......no matter which one I choose the same window opens back up.....repeatedly......now my LR is just locking up completely....
I decided to completely uninstall it then reinstall but it is still coming up the same.....arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggg!!!
Any advice please would be very very appreciated!

It sounds very much like something else is also trying to get hold of the images at the same time. If you update your profile with all the system details it would help folk here diagnose the issue.

Thank you...I updated what I could....not sure about some when it refers to LR specs...CPU Core and Video Brand..?

I get that message when I start up the computer. If I try to open LR while the computer is bringing up the "welcome" page, I get the server busy all the time. If I wait a few seconds for the "welcome" page to come up, I have no issues at all. But, my problem is different from yours. Are you running one or more programs simultaneously?

No.....and actually since I unistalled and then reinstalled LR it is worse......the whole thing is frozen now....it opens up to the last photo I was working on and freezes there.......FROZEN STIFF! Arrgggg.....guess I'll call Adobe today....

Have you disabled Windows Search? That's the most likely candidate.
