Help.. importing bulk files to Lightroom

Does anybody knew how to import files in bulk from an external storage device (My Book) to Lightroom Library?

Any advice is highly appreciated.

There are a couple of ways but the simplest would be to go to the file menu and select import from disk and then you can set your preferences there.

You mean import the whole folder rather than navigating down to the pictures themselves? Yes, just select the highest level folder in the first Import dialog, and press Choose Selected. The 2nd import dialog will show up with all of the photos from all of the subfolders.
