Help! I re-built my Mac and LR2 says all my catalogs are corrupt?

So, I backed up my Mac in full via SuperDuper, and I have Time Machine backups as well. I store my catalog files locally, but all of my RAW images are on a DROBO which I connect to via the network. I re-installed LR2.1, and now when I open any of my 8 or 1' catalogs, it says they're corrupt and the repair does not work either. I'm at a loss... So far I have tried repair, create a new catalog and import, I've got nothing so far. ANY help is greatly appreciated!

Hi katsanes, welcome to the forum! There's a guy at Adobe who is a wizard with corrupt catalogs. I'll PM you his details.

UPDATE!

I'm back. It seems that SuperDuper corrupted my catalogs, however when I restored my TimeMachine backup all was well! :mrgreen:

Great. I'm on Windows, but I'm told that you shouldn't let TimeMachine backup an open Lr catalog. I wonder if the same applies to SuperDuper? I'll leave it to you Mac folks.

For those of you playing along at home, look what Dan Tull said about my SuperDuper backup of one of my catalogs:

Yikes. I hope that your Time Machine backups are close enough, because that lrcat file is all full of zeroes. There's no real data in there at all. It looks like the result of opening a file, seeking to the end and saving it without ever writing anything.

Glad you found another backup in any case, because I wouldn't have been able to help out with corruption this severe!
