Help Auto Import

OK,

This is what I currently do:
Use software to move photos from my camera to a network drive organized in a folder with sub-folders each named for a specific date. Then in lightroom I have to import each sub-folder (day) separately. (BTW-Any new files/folders gets backed up to another drive every night.)

I would like to have lightroom automatically import any files in any sub-folders from the network folder. I can not seem to get the program to do this. Has anyone been able to do this? Am I missing something?

wave5, welcome.

No, Lr doesn't work like that(so far). You can designate a single folder for it to auto-import from, termed the 'Watched Folder'. This is intended primarily for tethered shooting. The watched folder can't have subfolders, and in fact has to be empty, when activating the process.
