This is regarding the free Focus-Points plug-in available on GitHub.

I have joined the development of this plug-in to add support for OM System cameras as well as an enhanced metadata (EXIF) viewer functionality.

Recently, a macOS Sonoma user reported that the metadata viewer would display just a single line. It's the only user report regarding such an issue and I cannot reproduce it on my Windows system. All the log and debug information look like it should. At this point, I don't know how to proceed. The issue seems to be independent of the camera used to capture the image/EXIF data.

Is there anyone here using macOS (the user runs Sonoma 14.4.1) and the plug-in as well who can feedback whether this works or not for her/him?

Many thanks!

Thank you for your question! Indeed, Nikon Z is not listed. I have had a look at the closed issues for this plug-in and there is one that indicates that Nikon Z-series is supported. Considering the wide distribution of Nikon Z cameras and the fact that there have been no recent user bug reports I expect the plugin should work for Nikon Z.

Would you like to try?

I will take care that the documentation gets updated.

I used the Focus Points plugin some time back. I do not have it installed now On my M2 Mac Studio. It worked well then on my Nikon D810 camera and I see no reason it would not work on my Z7,
