Hi All
I'm Dave and I would like to say Hello. New to Lightroom (and it's driving me nut's). My passion, or should I say obsession is Bird Watching and Photograhy. I started using a compact camera on my field scope last year and quickly realised the limitations, once te subject moves you have lost the shot. Progressed to a Nikon D5', had no knowledge of DSLRs. Lived on the "auto" mode, and to be fair had good results. But like many before me I was lured by the "glossy mags" and bought a Nikon D2''. Hated hated hated, the D2'' to start with, god how I missed the "auto mode". However it has been a steep learning curve and the D2'' and myself are "soul mates". I use a Sigma 5''mm f4.5 for most of my wildlife shots.

I have now been taking photos for about 6 months and hope to enhance my passion by using Lightroom. As I am a complete novice please excuse my "numpty" questions, but we all have to start some where.

Whoops!

Hi ment to include a photo for interest, butbeen a complete "numpty" forgot to do it:mrgreen:

Hi Dave,

And welcome to the forum (from a Huddersfield member). Where in Yorkshire are you?

Welcome Dave - from around the curve!!
Tell me what is a "numpty"???

Hi Paul, Cottingham or just outside Hull, Geoff a "numpty" is a nice term for "a bit of a twit"

LOL Dave. Educating everyone on the niceties of our language already! I like it! :D

Welcome to the forum!
