Hi everybody, my name is robert and I use LR since when it was simply LR with no number (many years ago!) and I had no digital camera (but I used it to organize my scans).
I arrived to this forum making research about the "GPU 10.1 bug" which affected my Mac Pro (late 2013). It works ok now back to 10.0 but...waiting for a solution from Adobe, but this is a different story!
LR Classic (subscription) is still my main photo software both for my scans (I still shoot film) and my digital files.
I would like to say a great hello to everyone here on the forum and thanks in advance for any future help. Grazie e ciao :)

Robert,

Welcome. This forum is a great place for discussions about Lightroom. The best, actually.

Out of curiosity, what is your film scanning setup?

Hi Phil, thanks. I scan 35mm film with a Nikon ED5000 scanner, hope it will work for enough time...and 120 film and Polaroid with an Epson V600.
In my opinion both make a good job. Never tried to scan 35mm on the V600.

I find LR very good both for organizing and processing files. And of course printing.
If only that 10.1 bug which affects my computer woukld be fixed...I still hope !
