Hello all :)


Allow me to introduce myself ....

Am an old Wail, was in Wales (UK) but am now in Saudi Arabia and yes, my name is Wail!

I've been into photography for over 3 decades and only a few years ago did I make the move to digital. Lightroom has helped me a lot in archiving my pictures; I now need to learn the use of its better and more advanced features.

So, please don't get upset with me if I ask a silly question ... I will try to do as much reading and searching before I ask.


Off to do some reading now.

I wouldn't worry about the 'really old ' bit Wail. I've no idea, but I guess there must be a number of us around here. I've been 'into' photography for over five decades - and still learning!

Hello from Central New York State

As the moniker suggests, I've been taking pictures for many years. Started with a Kodak Hawkeye, then my Mom's Ancoset. Joined the Marines and learned darkroom processing. Over the years Ihave had/and or used several different SLRs, Mamiya TLRs, Crown Graphic. When I retired from Law Enforcement, where my skills were used for less that artistic endeavors, I was given a N6' as a retirement gift. A couple of years ago I was loaned a Fuji S2Pro. After I took over 18'' images, I returned it. I now use a D2'' and a Fuji S3Pro.

I was a beta tester for version 1.' and use LR for 95% of my processing.

Looking for tips, techniques and plug-ins.

Nice to have you here!!! Welcome...... now to learn a new trick, could you help us out by filling in your signature in the "userCP" in the top blue bar with info such as most have, computer, camera, etc. Thanks......
