It won't import HDR but lists it as an unsupported format: Would love to be able to at least see my HDRs in LR even if it can't do much with them, as LR is also a very handy browser as well as all the other stuff

What format are you trying to import? A proprietary format from Photomatix, for example? If so, I wouldn't count on that type of support within Lightroom. However, you could always render the HDR to TIFF, JPEG, etc. and import that.

Thanks Ian, that makes sense, although the more formats LR supports in the future the better as long as it doesnt succumb to the same problem Bridge has (i.e. not working ) from trying to be too many things for too many tasks

Im not sure exactly what format it wa as it was late at night and LR had just finished installation and building a new library, I just noticed that the HDR images wouldn't import

I'll have to see if in retrospect I can find what ones they were - any tips how to do that?
