I had a problem with my lightroom catalogue but was able to use the last backup without a problem and did not lose anything. What is the best procedure going forward? Do I just keep using the old backup- I presume it will get updated going forward, Rename it? Do something else

Thanks,

Eliot

Did you follow the steps in your Classic FAQ book (page 64 2nd Edition)?

Ensure you don't use it from the backup folder, life gets very confusing then. Move it (if you didn't already) to the usual folder for your catalog, then all your backup routines will work as before.
