Grey screen - LR won't start

Updated to 8.2 a couple of days ago, all fine. Tried to start LR this evening - initial blank grey screen comes up but does not populate. Then an Adobe crash report screen comes up that I can't enter any details into. If I hit "send" without entering details, the screen goes away but then most of my CPU is taken up trying to deal with it. I've tried starting LR from my last catalog back-up taken yesterday, and exactly the same thing happens. Never seen anything like this before - any suggestions gratefully received.

Most of the crashes we see are graphics card related, so that's where I would start. Have you done a Windows update recently? Some people have been reporting that it rolled back their graphics card drivers, and an uninstall/reinstall solved their crash issues.

Many thanks, Victoria. Outlook began acting strangely at around the same time as the LR problems. If I start LR before any other apps, everything is fine, so I suspect it is something obscure to do with a Windows update.
