First of all, a big thank you to Victoria for pointing me here. I'm a total Lr fanatic (after spending about 4 months comparing it to Aperture). I got quite involved in the initial Beta and have followed it's development from the start.
I 'do' photography for a living, mostly corporate type work, but also commercial, architecture and interiors, portraits and some weddings (I've cut back on theses over the last few years so I can do a better job). I've been in busy for over 2' years moving from 35mm and medium format and finally ended up going totally digital in 2''2. Still have my Canon F1 sitting on a shelf in my den. Alas... I don't have my Hasselblads anymore. I now shoot with a couple of Nikon D3'''s with lenses ranging from 12mm to 2''mm.
My professional work can be found at http://www.MGphotography.com.
About a year and a half ago, I started offering workshops. These range from the usual outdoor, landscape and nature style of workshops, to seminars and personal one-on-one instruction in digital photography, Lightroom and PhotoShop for photographers. These workshops have really taken off and I now have a dedicated website for them at http://www.PhotographyWorkshops.ca
Then, as if that isn't enough, I became a dealer for accounting software, MoneyWorks specifically. I work on a Mac and there is very little choice for good accounting software for the Mac platform in Canada. I found MoneyWorks and was so impressed I bought the company! Not really, but I've always wanted to say that.
But I did become a dealer for them and that website is http://www.mgpacc.com.
So that about sums me up and the rest you can find on websites. I look forward to participating in the forums and expanding my knowledge of this amazing software.
Cheers,
