Graduated Filter/Brush colour remains after BW Conversion

Apologies if this has already been posted, but a search failed to turn it up.

I noticed that if, after applying a coloured graduated filter, you convert to greyscale, the filter colour chosen remains. The same happens if you apply a colour filter to a brush. Is this the expected behaviour?

Correct, this is expected behaviour. The brush tool also works this way.
To change the tint, click on the colour chip and reset it to ' Saturation.

Thanks Sean, I was forgetting the second saturation adjustment in the tint palette and wondering why the saturation setting in the main tool window had no effect!

These are both great new tools, but I'm still getting my head around the workflow they need.
