no gripe here ( makes a change
) just to say that Im having fun tring out the camera calibration to get accurate colours from my 5D
I realise this is possibly a futile exercise as it's unlikely I suspect that colours will show up identical in photoshop but it is teaching me a lot about coluor just playing with the calibration presets. Also I am realising that perhaps exact colour matching to percieved colour is impossibilé
I have set up a some red things with other colours for reference as I don't have a Greta McGreta McChart to use and have yet to manage to get the colours 1''% accurate to my eye
I can get the red of the jug just pretty spot on but the tea box at back goes out etc. The thing I have noticed especially is how the other sliders apart from the red one does a lot to the red quality as well. Any hints on how this should be done? ( apart from get a Greta Mc Greta whatsit?)
Here's my test pic:
what I cannot get right is that box at the back. it should be more this colour, but look how that throws the jug and other colours waaay off (jug is too orange):
