Hi team - I've recently purchased a Fujifilm XT3 - and have discovered that my current LR perpetual doesn't recognise FF RAW files! I have been thinking about upgrading to newer LR Classicwhen I upgrade my MacBook sometime this year. My question is will LR Classic be able to import and read Fuji RAF files ok - or would I still need a work around. thanks in advance. Brigette

Yes, LRC will read them just fine.

I have shot more Fuji raf files than almost any human being on Earth and I handled every single one of them in LR with the XT-1, XT-2, XT-3, XT-4, XH-1, X100f, GFX 100, GFX 50r, and on and on. No problem. And if you go on any of the photography Boards, don't believe any of that nonsense that LR doesn't handle XTrans files well. It does. You are going to love your XT-3. Get some XF lenses.

Lightroom (perpetual) and Lightroom Classic has to reverse engineer any proprietary RAW file format. Usually this requires 2-3 months after the new camera is released and Adobe send out a decimal update. Your Lightroom (perpetual) had its last update well before the XT-3 was released With a subscription (Classic) you will have the latest updates and support for any new camera that were available at the time the update was developed. You can always chec this site to see which version supports your camera.

Thanks Greg - I now know who to come to for help!! I've started with a sweet 35mm XF prime - that's about as far as my budget will stretch atm!
