Hi Everyone,
I just joined yesterday as I had a specific problem, but I know I'll be using this site a lot. You have great resources here, and the more I get into photography, the more I realize that LR will be another major part of my learning curve.
I'm relatively new to photography. I got hooked when digital came on the scene and moved gradually over the last 4 years from a p&s to fully manual super zoom to the Canon 4'D I purchased last spring.
I "specialize" in landscape and flower photography, and my love for hiking and wildflowers was the original inspiration for getting into photography-- loved the places, had to capture them. I occasionally shoot other things (wildlife, people, pets) but I don't really have the equipment or patience for doing those things well, so they are more like snapshots from a nice camera.
When I am not being a laptop-addicted couch potato, I am community college English teacher and an avid hiker, paddler, and solar power enthusiast.
