from lightroom to PS and back

Hey everyone, maybe someone could help. When I R/C on an image in Lightroom to Open in PS do some editing EX Color EFX etc.. then CTRL-SHIFT-S to save as TIFF back into LR. When it goes back to LR it for some reason moves to to last image even though the image # has not changed except for .TIFF extention. Wonder why it wont go back in sequence where it belongs.

Check the sort criteria and order in LR. This has caught a few people out in the past.

Yep, sounds like the sort is set to Added. Try sorting by Capture Time.
