Is it likely that a future version of LR will have the folder view integrated with the windows (in my case) folders?
Watched folder concept does not work for those of us whose importing of images is fully completed by other products. In my case, Downloader Pro places dng (converted from CR2) into date; job and camera-specific folders which makes watched folders only slightly more useful than a spare hat-rack for a reindeer.
Folder Synching works reasonably well but is very slow if you (because of your folder structure) have to synch at quite a high level
