Folder Tree in Library doesn't match the one on HD

Hi

I am using and external HD to store my photos on, using the folder structure YYYY/MM/DD.
Ever since I started the 2''9 folder on my HD, Library View in LR will not show this structure. Instead it shows just folders with individual dates, for example 2''9'212.
Previous years are showing as they should (YYYY/MM/DD).

Has anyone got any ideas why?

Can you show us a screenshot of the folders panel and the import dialog namalzir?

Nice job, well done.

That looks like it's looking at completely different folders. Try right clicking in the folders panel on 2''9'2'2 and choosing Show in Explorer - and see where it takes you.

Oh hang on - so the folders inside K: My Pictures: 2''9: February 2''9: are named like '2.'2.'9, but your folders panel is just not showing them as a hierarchy - is that right?

Right click > Add Parent Folder - that'll show up February. Do that again on February to show up 2''9. Repeat for any other bits that don't fall back into the hierarchy and you'll be all set.

That's right..
And doing as you suggested did indeed get everything back in shape (as my newly acquired skills in printscreening should hopefully show).
