Hi, Hope someone can help.

I have used Jeffery Friedl's "Export to Flickr" plugin many times without an issue. However, I have just discovered that the last photo I exported to Flickr via the plugin has disappeared from the catalog nor is it anywhere that I can find on the computer. I am fairly certain that whatever went wrong was my fault but I don't know what I did wrong. Does anyone have an idea so I can prevent myself from doing this again.

The really odd thing is that this was an edited and cropped photo and both the edited version AND the original are gone.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Robin

I'm using the flickr plugin and haven't encountered the problem you mention. Are you sure you haven't got a filter selection inadvertently selected? Try pressing 'G' and then going to "All Photographs" in the Catalog panel. Make sure the filter bar is set to "None"

I agree wtih LJR69. Did you make sure nothing else changed? Filters? Accidental deletion from a collection (did you check the original folder)? Anything else similar?

If needed, I'd recommend posting a comment/question on Jeffrey's site for that particular product. In my experience he's very responsive. If he's heard of the problem before, you should be able to get an answer there...

[/quote] posting a comment/question on Jeffrey's site ... After you've made absolutely sure that are not in your catalog or on the HD (using Windows Explorer outside LR) If you are viewing them in a Smart Collection, many things can be at work to suppres the files and keep them from being visible.
If you have deleted the files from your local HD, they should still be available in your trashcan. Have you looked there?

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I will give them a try and let you know.

I have no doubt that this is something I screwed up as this has never happened before when using this plugin. I have used it since and everything was fine. It is just odd that both the copy and the original disappeared right after the upload. That they are somehow hidden makes sense. I hope I can figure this out and prevent myself from doing this to myself in the future. :-[

Thanks, Robin
