I have tried to do some basic prints of RAW and JPEG pictures that I have not carried out any alterations on. The problem being that they look washed out, or like an old photo that you have had for years and has faded considerably. I have tried printing the same photo's via the software that came with my printer and they come out fine. Is there some basic configuration that I have to do for LR to carry out basic prints, such as something to do with what controls colour management maybe? I hope someody can help!!!
PS: I have seen the sticky about dark prints and the relevant workarounds. I am not sure if my problem is more fundamental than this and in all honesty I struggled to understand the detail of these explanations anyway.
