Hello, i have a lot of TIF and JPG that dont have the same name as their master file, (my raw file). That is a mistake i did earlier when i was eager to do a TIF, before it had been renamed, my mistake.
Anyway i want to clean up this mess of mine, i want to stack these files with their master file. Today i always do this, by the way!
Is there a easy way to do this in Lightroom? a magical button ore something:D
Well i try to search on date but did not quit get that to work well.
I would be thankfull for any suggestion that might help me in the right direction.
All the best, Kai Jensen.

I'd suggest putting them in Capture Date order and scrolling through them is probably the simplest way of doing it Kai. No magical button for that one.

Thanks Victoria, would you please explain it for me? I did not understand how to sort them by capture date. Sorry if i am a bit slow on this :-)

Library module.
Turn on the toolbar "T" key if it is hidden.

At the right hand end there is a triangle, click it, make sure sorting is ticked.

In the tool bar you will see sort options with double up/down arrows, click it and select capture time from the list.

Or just View menu > Sort > Capture Time
