Finding Keyword attached to individual photos

I am fairly new to Lightroom and have a question that I assume there is an easy answer to. When I attach a keyword to a photo I get an icon in the lower right of the image that looks like a tag. When I roll over that tag I get a message that says "photo has keywords". How can I figure out what keywords are attached to the photo?

The easy ones, I get to answer :
In the Library module, select a photo (either in the grid or in the filmstrip) and check the "Keywording" section in the right hand panel. Right below the title Keyword Tags you'll find the attached keywords written in a box and in the "Keyword List" section you'll see a checkmark to the left of all the keywords attached to the photo.

Yeah, but..... The easy way is to click that little icon on the thumbnail - LR goes straight to the Keywording panel.

Hi All
just jumping into this topic as i have a slightly different problem, i appear to have lost the tag sign on the keyworded photos since i converted picts to DNG files. How can i get them back?

Look in View > View Options. It's thumbnail badges that needs to be ticked.

And the badges just disappear if the filmstrip is dragged below a minimum size. If John's advice doesn't fix it, try dragging the filmstrip a little larger (taller).

[/quote]Oh, this could be useful. Very early, I made my filmstrip as small as possible to free up real estate on my 13" laptop screen. I have a new Desktop and a 26" monitor so being small is not necessary. Until this topic, I was not really aware of what I was missing. When in something other than Grid Mode, it is nice to reference these badges. Thanks!

Cletus, try double clicking the line between the filmstrip and the main window - the cursor changes when you hover over the line. It makes the filmstrip toggle between the last two sizes applied to it.

[/quote]Thanks John, I'll probably never need this feature, but it is nice to know. Since I will only use the 13" laptop as a laptop and while mobile, I will keep the filmstrip on it as small as practical. It was the reminder that I can change it :icon_idea: and should for my big screen and my desktop.
